An academic gathering of leading global scholars recently concluded by Dushu Lake, with China Gate Scientific’s integrated metabolic solutions drawing significant attention.
The Cold Spring Harbor Asia conference "Mitochondria and Metabolism in Health and Disease" was successfully held in Suzhou Industrial Park from October 13–17, 2025. As the only overseas conference organized by Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, the event attracted approximately 180 participants, more than two-thirds of whom were international scholars.
Organized by renowned researchers including Quan Chen (Nankai University), Nika Danial (Harvard Medical School), Kaori Ishikawa (University of Tsukuba), and Luca Scorrano (University of Padua), the conference focused on cutting-edge topics such as mitochondrial bioenergetics, dynamics, quality control, and their roles in disease.
Intimate Yet In-Depth Academic Exchange
Though compact in scale, the conference maintained a strong academic focus, bringing together 140 faculty members and 40 student researchers in Suzhou. The program included eight oral presentation sessions and a poster session, providing a high-quality platform for in-depth dialogue in mitochondrial research.
Authoritative experts from institutions such as the University of Tokyo, Harvard University, and the University of Padua shared their latest findings. Most talks were selected from openly submitted abstracts, ensuring scientific relevance and novelty. Social events also offered ample informal networking opportunities, fostering international collaboration and intellectual exchange.
Exhibition: Integrated Metabolic Solutions from Cells to Humans
As the authorized China agent for Oxford Optronix, Sable Systems, Lucid Scientific, and Xstrahl, China Gate Scientific presented a complete technological platform for metabolic research.
The Resipher real-time cell metabolism monitoring system attracted notable interest from researchers. Also showcased were metabolic cages for mice, offering an end-to-end solution from cellular to whole-animal studies. Technical materials covering Sable, Resipher, DMT, Optronix, and Sarrp products met diverse attendee needs.
Global Engagement: Recognition from Leading Institutions
Visits from three international scholars stood out during the conference. Researchers from Duke-NUS Medical School, New York University, and Mayo Clinic expressed strong interest in Resipher technology, providing valuable international endorsement for China Gate Scientific’s products.
Through this specialized conference, China Gate Scientific effectively connected with core researchers in the mitochondrial field, gaining high-quality feedback and potential collaboration opportunities while engaging in technical discussions that will inform future product and strategy development.
