On August 26, 2024, Shane SHEN, the manager of the Cardiovascular and Imaging Department at China Gate Scientific, successfully completed a week-long training and exchange visit in the United States. The training covered various areas including marketing, sales, and technical services at Danish Myo Technology (DMT) and PhotoSound Technologies, Inc. (PhotoSound), laying a solid foundation for future collaboration between the two parties in China.
In-depth Exchange on DMT's Business Dynamics
On August 12th, Shane had a comprehensive and in-depth discussion with DMT Executive Director Carsten Thorndahl regarding global market dynamics, sales situation, and strategies. Carsten expressed optimism about DMT's development prospects in the Chinese market and responded positively to future plans such as Chinese language interface and other location service. The two parties also engaged in extensive discussions on the latest research trends and technological innovations in the cardiovascular field.

On the last day of the training, Shane had another in-depth exchange with Mr. Carsten Thorndahl. The two parties discussed the application of DMT products in cardiovascular fields such as atherosclerosis, as well as product differentiation. Carsten stated that he would further support the market expansion efforts of the Chinese team and provide more relevant technical support to assist Chinese researchers in their academic studies.
Visit to PhotoSound and Learning of the TriTom System
On August 19th, Shane visited the offices and laboratories of PhotoSound, learning about the company's organizational structure and product development. At the Texas Medical Center, Shane observed a demonstration of the TriTom system, guided by PhotoSound application specialist Dylan Lawrence and R&D engineer Nathan Marshall. The TriTom is a small animal whole-body photoacoustic and fluorescence tomography system. Shane mastered the key steps of using the system, including imaging capture, temperature regulation, animal fixation, and software control.
