Cardiovascular Research

  • Cardiovascular Function, Blood Pressure and Flow, Vessel Structure

Background

Cardiovascular diseases are the leading cause of death and disability worldwide, and the number of patients and deaths from cardiovascular diseases has been increasing globally over the past three decades.

With the change in people's lifestyles and aging of the population, the population affected by metabolic and behavior-related risk factors has been significantly increasing. It is urgent to collect relevant data through specific experimental methods to explore cardiovascular disease-related risk factors, including hypertension and diabetes, obesity and high cholesterol, smoking and excessive alcohol consumption, as well as aging, so as to provide support for the treatment and early prevention of cardiovascular diseases and improvement of people's health.
