Description

Overview

ImpediVET Experimental Animal Body Composition Analyzer is a single-channel, tetra polar bioimpedance spectroscopy (BIS) device that scans 256 frequency points within the 3 kHz to 1000 kHz range in under one second. The device utilizes complex impedance analysis to determine Total Body Water (TBW), Extracellular Fluid (ECF), and Intracellular Fluid (ICF) from impedance data. It subsequently calculates Fat-Free Mass (FFM) and Fat Mass (FM). Further data analysis can be performed using the supporting software included with the device.

Features

  • Bioimpedance Spectroscopy (BIS) – 256 independent frequencies

  • Single-channel, tetra polar configuration

  • Portable design with integrated processor

  • Touch screen

  • Low noise data generation no high frequency hook effect

  • High-precision animal body composition analysis

  • Access to all raw impedance data
